And don't worry, I'm a serious fan too, honestly (I think Beast Wars is *THE* best Western-animated show of all time). I've got a few Beast Wars artworks going and even a Beast Machines sketch on my computer just waiting to be finished up. So yeah, needless to say I love the series and don't mind talking about it a bit.

I love Silverbolt, but I could not stand him in that series. Silverbolt! What hast become of ye! Your character's evolution was completely unbelievable. Even Scott McNeal could not work well under the conditions of that series.
Get this,.... Have you ever read about the "creative" process behind Beast Machines series? >.< IT COMPLETELY LACKED IT! They basically took everything (like having the voice actors contribute and improve on the dialog with their own understanding of the characters during recording sessions) that made the series what it was and threw it out the window.
The scripts were already fixed before the actors even got to read them! I read that the actors felt very constricted by the timing and having to say lines that were not natural for their characters' mannerisms. Jeez, if it isn't broken, why do the higher ups think that they have to fix it? I think that people sometimes forget that animation is a media for art and requires a large degree of artistic freedom, to make it work.
Anyway, sorry to ramble. Can you tell I'm a serious fan? ^.^;;
