Lately, Son-neko has been very sad. Her academic career in art has been a VERY rough trail and as of late, it is getting to be a whole lot more difficult a trail for her to follow. I think she feels somewhat defeated, which is scary since she always rolls with the punches like no other!!!

I'm very worried about her and I was looking for a way to cheer her up and remind her that she really has talent and that she is appreciated... Problem is, I'm very bad at cheering people up. It's hit or miss with me...

So I really could not think of anything I could do to bring Kat's spirits up...

Art is Kat's life. I have the utmost confidence in the fact that she needs very little encouragement to "hang in there" as far as chasing her dreams of art goes,... but sometimes, I think, reminding even the most determined person does not hurt.
